CourtCall ("we", "the app") is a pickup-basketball scoring app. This policy explains what data we collect and how we use it. We aim to collect as little as possible.

What we collect

• Account info: the email address and display name you provide when you create an account. Your 6-digit PIN is never stored in plain text — it is used as your password and handled by our authentication provider.
• App data: games, teams, players, tournaments, and communities you create. This is stored locally on your device and, if you sign in, synced to our backend so you can access it across devices.
• Guest mode: if you continue as a guest, no email is collected and your data stays on your device only.

How we use it

• To provide the app: saving your games, syncing your account, and showing communities you join.
• We do not sell your data or use it for advertising.

Where it's stored

Account and synced data are stored with our backend provider (Supabase). Local data lives in your browser's storage and is removed when you log out or clear data.

Your choices

• Export: download all your data as JSON from Settings → Export Data.
• Delete: log out (clears this device) or use Clear All Data. To delete your account and server data, contact us at the email below.

By using CourtCall you agree to these terms. CourtCall is provided "as is" during its beta period.

Using the app

• You're responsible for the activity on your account and for keeping your PIN private.
• Don't post unlawful, harassing, or infringing content in communities, and don't misuse or attempt to break the service.
• You must be old enough to consent to data processing in your region (generally 13+, or 16+ in parts of the EU).

Your content

You keep ownership of the games, teams, and posts you create. By posting in a community you allow other members of that community to see your content.

Beta & availability

• Features may change, break, or be removed. Back up important data with Export.
• We don't guarantee uninterrupted service or that data will never be lost.

Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, CourtCall is not liable for any indirect or incidental damages arising from use of the app.
